In the U.S., the agency provides a range of services to prominent professional sports teams and leagues, blue-chip brands marketing in sports and entertainment, and leading media outlets across all its business divisions, including Commercial, Brand Consulting, Charity & Events, Digital, Esports and Gaming, Experiential Marketing and Production, Golf (talent representation and event management), and Media.

We are currently looking for a motivated intern for our Global Sales Organization Team in full-time (38h) at our Hamburg location from March 2025.

What you can expect:

GSO Brokerage

  1. Maintain an accurate, detailed real-time register of currently available high-value brokerage opportunities on a daily basis (“Asset List”).
  2. Support storage of sales product information, data/insights and sales materials for the most relevant brokerage opportunities (“Asset Library”).
  3. Support the process of creating customized brand solutions in response to brand-generated briefs from the global sales organization.
  4. Use available market intelligence tools to enrich sales material with necessary data.
  5. Develop detailed B2B and B2C case studies on key partnerships in European football.
  6. Understand and analyze brand briefings and develop opportunity short-lists on short notice.
  7. Create and distribute a bi-weekly sponsoring newsletter.

Formula 1

  1. Support collection of market research, analysis, evaluation, data collection and presentation of the entire motorsport ecosystem – Formula 1, Formula E, F1 Academy, W Series, other global and US motorsport properties.
  2. Develop detailed B2B and B2C case studies on former and current partners within the motorsport network.
  3. Conduct a full evaluation of all F1 and FE Central Organisations and Teams by means of a SWOT analysis – updated quarterly.
  4. Conduct a wide variety of data collection on the entire motorsport ecosystem (emerging business sector opportunities, current partner competitor benchmarking, deal values, term and expiry, special considerations).
  5. Prospect new business/motorsport leads for the Global Sales Organisation (C-Level executive clients, brands).
  6. Provide geo-targeted motorsport market insights (USA, Middle East, APAC, Europe, Africa).
  7. Provide regular updates on the digital transformation of various motorsport stakeholders (Series, Teams, Races, Events).
  8. Select appropriate data and literary sources for research purposes.
  9. Draft and finalize research reports for presentation.
  10. Identify key areas of concern and areas of improvement in research design and implementation.
  11. Present your work in written and verbal form to different stakeholders.

Your profile:

  1. You have successfully completed your studies in the field of business administration, economics, Sport Management or other related studies (ideally with a major in Marketing).
  2. The European football and Formula 1 landscape are well known to you and you are skilled in creating concepts and presentations based on briefings.
  3. Initial practical experience, e.g., through an internship, would be preferable.
  4. You are a team player, you like to interact and can manage your workload as efficiently as possible.
  5. You have strong organizational skills combined with a high level of motivation and a quickness to grasp new tasks.
  6. You possess excellent MS Office, internet, and ideally also Adobe Photoshop skills.
  7. Fluent in Business English and ideally further languages.
