We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced manager to oversee our Enterprise Data Quality, Master Data Management, and Reference Data Management workstreams. This role will ensure the development and implementation of comprehensive strategies to maintain accurate, reliable, and well-managed data at Siemens Energy.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of data governance principles, and the ability to drive data quality initiatives across the organization. The position requires close collaboration with various teams to identify, address, and resolve data-related issues while establishing robust data management frameworks.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Lead and mentor a team of data management professionals, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Develop and implement strategic goals aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure continuous professional development and performance management of team members.
  • Provide strategic guidance to various data domains and collaborate on enhancing data governance frameworks.
  • Oversee the establishment and enforcement of data quality standards and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of data quality metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor and improve data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues and support project delivery to address them.
  • Provide thought leadership on architecture, tools, and governance models, exploring innovative ideas like AI-driven data quality, data monetization, etc.
  • Develop and manage master data and reference data strategies, standards, and processes to ensure consistency and reliability across systems.
  • Standardize and harmonize master data definitions and processes, documenting key data entities.
  • Advise on suitable tools and approaches for future-proof data management at Siemens Energy.

What You Bring

  • University degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in data management and data quality roles within large-scale enterprise environments, with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Track record of developing and executing enterprise data quality and management strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid understanding of data quality, master data, and reference data management principles; experience with data modeling, architecture, and database systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency with data management tools and technologies such as SQL, ETL tools, data governance platforms, and MDM solutions like Collibra, Informatica, Ataccama, or Talend.
