Overall Job Description

allO’s rapid growth as a startup is driven by its customer-focused approach, excellent service and deep understanding of the pain points faced by local restaurants. As our Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts within the Chinese restaurant sector in Germany. Your goal is to foster positive, lasting relationships with clients, understand their unique needs, and ensure they receive exceptional support and value from our platform. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a direct impact on Chinese restaurants' success and our company's growth.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing key Chinese restaurant clients, including regular visits
  • Understand Chinese restaurant clients’ business needs and tailor solutions accordingly
  • Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to stay updated on key clients’ needs and pain points
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure the timely implementation of key clients’ critical needs
  • Build trust and address client concerns appropriately when they are dissatisfied
  • Identify and realize opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize customer value
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase client retention and loyalty
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to help improve our product and services continuously

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in Account Management, Sales or Customer Success, preferably within the SaaS or hospitality industry
  • Strong commercial and customer-focused mindset and ability to build trust as well as long-term relationships with customers
  • Quick adaptability to innovative technology and software
  • Comfortable taking ownership, driving results and interacting with internal as well as external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented way of working along with strong problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Team player with hands-on as well as proactive attitude and ability to work independently
  • Native or excellent Chinese language skills along with proficiency in English; any additional languages are a big plus
  • Flexibility and ability as well as willingness to travel to customers within Germany
