Software Developer (m / f / d) Java for Software Solutions in the Metals Industry

As part of our international PSImetals development team of about 70 experts for planning and production processes as well as quality assurance in the metal industry, the following tasks await you at our company:

• Adaptation and further development of our production management software PSImetals to the constantly growing challenges in the metals industry (Industry 4.0)
• Consulting for projects and customers on the optimization of their processes and the corresponding use of our software solutions
• Planning, implementing and commissioning solutions together with our worldwide projects
• Mapping of Business Processes through Design, Development and Configuration
• Quality assurance during development
• Carrying out developer tests

Job Requirements

• Computer science, studies in IT, engineering or comparable acquired qualifications
• Knowledge of Java / JEE or related languages
• Experience in design and development of modern software development methods
• German and English spoken and written
• Desire and pleasure to design solutions in the production environment using modern methods

In addition to technical skills, qualified candidates are characterized by strong human relations skills, initiative and autonomy in their tasks. Knowledge or experience in the metals industry or further language skills definitely set you apart from the other applicants, while further IT skills are valuable resources for your work.
