Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Life & Health, Risk Assessment team at our headquarters in Hannover, Germany, join us on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible as an IT Programmer Medical Underwriting.

You can look forward to:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain content management systems (CMS) for our reinsurance underwriting manual | Ascent
  • Support local offices worldwide with content change requests
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance our underwriting manual
  • Develop and maintain web-based applications
  • Gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Provide technical support for CMS and web-based applications

You come equipped with:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT programming, focusing on content management systems
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in web-based applications development, HTML/CSS
  • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts
  • Knowledge of medical underwriting (primary insurance and/or reinsurance)
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET Framework
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities
