Establishing a program management structure for maritime ESM projects by aligning all relevant projects within the matrix
Comprehensive oversight of large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, including coordinating resources and workflows across teams, and ensuring timely, within-budget delivery
Accountable for meeting commercial objectives (profit and loss) and aligning projects with operational and strategic priorities
Adherence to project management standards and frameworks
Conducting central claim management for all projects
Representing the company in executive and customer meetings, presenting project progress, addressing concerns, and aligning expectations
Serving as the central interface for suppliers and development departments to streamline coordination and manage partnerships
Prioritizing projects based on business goals and establishing a centralized reporting system
Your Tasks
Leading a team of 3 direct reports
Establishing a program management structure for maritime ESM projects by aligning all relevant projects within the matrix
Providing comprehensive oversight of large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, including resource and workflow coordination, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery
Being responsible for meeting commercial objectives and aligning projects with operational and strategic needs
Ensuring adherence to project management standards and frameworks
Managing claims centrally for all projects
Representing projects in executive and customer meetings, presenting progress, addressing concerns, and aligning expectations
Acting as the central interface for suppliers and development departments for streamlined coordination
Prioritizing projects and creating a centralized reporting system
Your Qualifications
University degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, physics, informatics, or a relevant business field
10+ years of experience managing complex aerospace & defense projects
Experience with maritime projects and/or SIGINT/EW is a plus
Expertise in managing projects based on the system engineering model within cross-functional matrix organizations
Strong problem-solving, system-thinking, and analytical skills
Solid understanding of business and finance principles
Ability to work assertively and sensitively within a complex project matrix
Proven leadership skills in motivating and developing international teams
Fluent in German and English
