at Kia Connect GmbH in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

Job mission:

As Senior Specialist Digital Smart Charging Solutions, you will be responsible for creating seamless, efficient, and user-friendly digital products that meet customer and partner needs while aligning with the company’s strategic goals. You will focus on integrating smart charging solutions into our existing digital ecosystem, considering market-specific requirements and collaborating with partners across Europe.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify new product opportunities, improvements, and partnerships.
  • Align product development with business goals, customer feedback, and emerging technologies.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment across departments.
  • Create, align, and ensure implementation of smart charging features in the digital landscape, ensuring a synchronized customer experience across all touchpoints (app and head-unit).
  • Ensure seamless end-to-end data flow to optimize customer outcomes in collaboration with our Korean HQ.
  • Enhance existing charging features and develop new ones.
  • Support analysis of third-party providers in different markets to select suitable partners for smart charging solutions.
  • Assist in creating legal documents and coordinate with legal advisors (customer-facing documents and cooperation agreements).
  • Leverage data analytics to monitor product performance, customer satisfaction, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with customer support and sales teams to address product issues and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with marketing for successful product launches, updates, and campaigns.
  • Stay updated on advancements in EV charging technology, IoT, smart grids, and software development to incorporate innovative solutions.
  • Participate in discussions on emerging technologies like vehicle-to-grid (V2G), dynamic load management, and AI-driven charging optimization.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years in product management, preferably in digital solutions, energy management, or EV charging industry.
  • Experience in automotive/mobility is a strong asset.
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer roles is a strong asset.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of digital touchpoints management (App, Website, Connected Car) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of energy market players is required.
  • Understanding of EV charging infrastructure, smart grid technology, and energy management systems is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with standards and regulations (OCPP, ISO 15118) is advantageous.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce tools is a plus.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and influence without hierarchy.
  • Comfort with Agile tools like Confluence or JIRA.
  • Motivation to work on new and unknown topics.
  • Independent working style with team spirit.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
