Job Opening: Real Estate Project Manager (Full-Time, Permanent)

Our focus is on bridging the gap to renewable energy by investing in hydrogen, biomass, and battery storage. We aim to convert our power plant fleets to carbon-neutral fuels such as hydrogen and biomass and develop innovative storage technologies. Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership: Motivating and developing a high-performing team, overseeing approximately 5 full-time employees and around 25 dotted-line reports across global offices.
2. Project Management: Leading estate-related projects within the RWE Group, including refurbishment activities, supporting new business initiatives, and establishing hybrid office concepts.
3. Governance: Establishing robust processes and tools for real estate activities.
4. Process Management: Supporting process mapping and optimization of the real estate portfolio.
5. International Standards: Aligning office standards worldwide via dotted-line reporting to global office managers.
6. Branding: Ensuring a consistent RWE look and feel in offices globally.
7. Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Compliance & Safety: Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and health and safety standards.
9. Intercultural Skills: Applying intercultural competencies daily and traveling internationally as needed.

Qualifications:

• Degree or training in economics or a related field.
• Several years of management experience.
• Professional experience in a commercially driven environment, both nationally and internationally.
• Independent work ethic, reliability, and responsibility.
• Strong organizational and structured working skills.
• Intercultural mindset with willingness to travel.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German and/or Dutch is a plus.
