Backend Developer (m / f / d)

As a member of our development team, you will contribute to innovative customer projects. Your responsibilities include :

• Supporting our team in developing and implementing innovative customer solutions
• Bringing ideas to life through modern technologies
• Enhancing and optimizing existing features
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality
• Proactively communicating and sharing your knowledge with the team
• Familiarizing yourself with new technologies and developing solutions for technical challenges

Your profile

To successfully implement exciting projects with us, you ideally possess the following qualifications :

• You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, IT Security, a comparable field of study or a completed vocational training
• You have initial professional experience in software development, ideally in areas such as web development, cyber security, cryptography, secure software development or testing

You have knowledge of at least two of the following technologies :

• Java
• API Design and -Patterns
• Databases (SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL or MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g. DynamoDB or BigTable))
• Generating and analyzing monitoring and telemetry data to detect and resolve issues
• Experience with various consistency models and their implementation in distributed systems with concurrent access
• Backend security
• Basic frontend knowledge for prototyping or demos

Furthermore, you have experience with modern development tools such as Git, GitLab, JetBrains IDEs and / or VS Code IDEs and you are interested in topics like Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Cloud Computing and Kubernetes.
