Senior Technical F&O Consultant

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) . You will lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions that support enterprise-grade digital transformation initiatives. This role demands a high level of technical proficiency, problem-solving capability, and the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of customisations, integrations, and extensions in D365 F&O using X++ , C# , and Azure tools.
• Take ownership of technical architecture decisions and ensure alignment with solution design and business objectives.
• Implement robust integration solutions using OData , REST APIs , Azure Logic Apps , Service Bus , and Power Platform .
• Build and optimise data entities , SSRS reports , batch processes, and workflows.
• Manage environments, deployments, and release pipelines through LCS and Azure DevOps .
• Perform code reviews , enforce coding standards, and drive best practices across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and scalability issues in production environments.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior developers and consultants.

Key Skills & Experience :

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics AX / D365 F&O development .
• Strong command of X++ , the D365 extension framework , and event-driven architecture .
• In-depth understanding of D365 F&O modules , particularly in Finance , Supply Chain , or Manufacturing .
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps , LCS , Git , and CI / CD pipeline configuration.
• Experience with Power Platform , including Power Automate , Power Apps , and Dataverse , is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Microsoft certification(s) such as MB-500 or Solution Architect Expert is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
