Quality Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

• You monitor, analyze, and continuously improve product quality, including defect handling, reduction of scrap, and initiation of corrective and immediate actions
• You conduct data analyses (e.g., scrap figures, quality situation) and prepare reports to support quality control
• You moderate and methodically lead interdisciplinary teams to analyze root causes, identify errors, and develop improvement measures
• You ensure compliant handling and traceability of suspect materials, as well as adherence to quality standards in material flow
• You create, update, and control production documents such as the Production Control Plan (PLP) and Operational Process Instructions (OPI), including communication with process engineering
• You serve as an interface between quality assurance and production; training and supporting employees regarding quality requirements and standards
• You monitor, evaluate, and improve processes through the application of statistical methods, supporting process changes, and initiating continuous improvement (KVP) measures

Qualifications:

• You have a technical master craftsman or technician training or completed technical studies
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in automotive quality management
• You have good knowledge of the standard MS Office programmes and SAP
• Ideally, you have product know-how about air springs, elastomer processing and automotive core tools desirable
• You have good technical problem solving skills
• You communicate confidently in German and English
• You have good moderation skills
