What You Can Expect

• Support the Lead Buyer in strategic tasks
• Responsible for achieving set goals, especially regarding supply security and product quality
• Review requirements, initiate, and manage tenders
• Create inquiries and purchase orders
• Conduct national procurement market research
• Assist in building strategic supplier relationships through searching, selecting, and qualifying suppliers with supervisor support
• Prepare, independently conduct, and follow up on negotiations with suppliers, reviewing content
• Coordinate with project purchasing and cross-functional teams
• Create demand analyses and quotation matrices
• Identify and implement cost reduction potentials

What You Bring

• Completed technical, business, or legal studies, or a completed apprenticeship as a purchasing and logistics specialist, or comparable qualification
• Ideally, several years of experience in purchasing
• Excellent SAP and Microsoft Office skills
• High willingness to travel and confident demeanor
