To fuel further growth and innovation, the team is hiring a mid-to-senior level DevOps/Backend Developer to strengthen infrastructure and backend systems supporting a global user base.

Your Role

• Ensure reliable, scalable infrastructure through deployment and system operations.
• Develop and maintain backend features serving millions of users.
• Contribute clean, efficient code to a microservices architecture.
• Maintain high standards for performance, stability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional, agile team while working independently.
• Directly influence the success of a global digital health platform.

Your Profile

• 2+ years’ hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and production system operations.
• Proficient in PHP 8.x, MySQL (5.7+), and raw SQL optimization.
• Familiar with Laravel Lumen or Slim and MVC design patterns.
• Skilled in unit testing, clean code practices, and working with cloud services (AWS/Heroku).
• Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Backend Developer.
• Based within ±2 hours of Berlin (CET), in the EU, UK, or Switzerland.
• Passionate about digital health, continuous learning, and teamwork.
