Operational Buyer (f / m / d)

For our esteemed customer in the pharmaceutical industry, we are seeking a dedicated Operational Buyer (f / m / d) for a 6-month limited contract as a contingent worker.

Your Mission :

As a key member of our procurement team, you'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient purchasing operations. You'll take ownership of the full purchase order lifecycle, from creation to maintenance. Your proactive approach will be vital in streamlining our procurement processes and upholding our high standards. Specifically, you will :

• Drive operational procurement activities with efficiency and effectiveness, always adhering to company guidelines.
• Manage purchasing for expenditures below €50, skillfully negotiating favorable terms and efficient processes with our valued suppliers.
• Collaborate closely with lead buyers to facilitate timely progress on larger sourcing initiatives (above €50k).
• Ensure all sourcing actions comply with internal regulations, proactively addressing any discrepancies.
• Minimize exceptions to standard processes, securing necessary approvals when deviations are unavoidable.
• Provide valuable support to the broader procurement shared services team as needed.
• Contribute directly to Procurement's success by achieving savings targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, mitigating risks, and meeting key performance indicators (e.g., ROSMA).
• Conduct all activities in full compliance with DSE policies, procedures, and all relevant external regulations.

Your Profile :

• A Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience within procurement. Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a significant plus.
• A strong drive to achieve results, coupled with a proactive and autonomous work style.
• Proven ability to execute tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion.
• Exceptional organizational skills, a strong sense of commitment, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• A positive and customer-centric attitude with a dedication to providing excellent service.
• A collaborative spirit with outstanding communication skills and a positive mindset.
• The ability to think critically, challenge existing practices constructively, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, coupled with strong problem-solving skills focused on solutions.
• Excellent analytical abilities, a high degree of reliability, and a meticulous approach to accuracy.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is a definite advantage.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP MM, eSourcing platforms, and Procurement Suites.
