What you'll do

  • Lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of procurement contracts for direct and indirect materials (including quality agreements), service agreements (including SLAs), CAPEX, and maintenance contracts.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, local procurement colleagues, as well as the legal and finance teams to ensure contracts meet business needs, compliance standards, and risk management requirements.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments that may impact operations and contracts.
  • Monitor and manage contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
  • Provide training and guidance to procurement staff on contract management practices and category-specific aspects.

Who you are

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, IT, or a related field. Advanced studies in law, such as a Juris Doctor (JD) or a Master of Laws (LLM), especially with a concentration in contract law, commercial law, or technology law, are highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in contract management and global contracts, reinforced by healthy assertiveness.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms in complex high-value contracts, underpinned by a solid foundation in legal analysis and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; fluency in English is essential.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office suite, as well as knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP), is advantageous.
