RWE Offshore Wind is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to join the Projects & Investments UK&I and Southern Europe team (P&I UK&SE). The role involves supporting large-scale offshore wind farms, coordinating financial workstreams from early development to operational phases.

This position offers an opportunity to work with an international team across Europe, USA, and Asia. The role requires flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and will involve hybrid working with travel as needed.

Your future plans

• Support the wider financial team in project-related activities
• Coordinate finance workstreams, including:
• Managing the business case process
• Owning the assumption and cost books
• Aligning financial models and results with project owners and advisors
• Managing project risks and opportunities
• Overseeing cost management systems
• Coordinating accounting and tax workstreams
• Handling budgeting, cost controls, and reporting
• Collaborating with legal, procurement, and commercial teams
• Developing bankable project structures
• Benchmarking financial assumptions and optimizing project economics
• Monitoring project economics and reporting results
• Representing finance in steering committees and meetings
• Addressing grid connection financial considerations
• Supporting bid proposals and project approval papers
• Establishing project governance in collaboration with the project director
• Sharing lessons learned and ensuring best practices

Your profile

• 4-6 years’ experience managing large-scale projects, preferably offshore or power plants
• Strong finance background, including valuation, project financing, controlling, procurement
• Accounting experience is a plus
• Degree in business administration, engineering, banking, or economics
• Structured working approach
• Analytical and communication skills
• Leadership and motivation skills
• Experience working with international teams
• Presentation skills
• Fluent English; German is a plus
• Trustworthy and collaborative personality
• Willing to travel as required
• Ability to work independently and in international teams
