Position Overview

For the Center of Excellence Infusion & Pain Therapy (CoE IPT) at the Hospital Care division, we are seeking a Senior Expert (w/m/d) in Manufacturing Digitalization for non-active medical devices at our Melsungen site.

The 'Manufacturing Digitalization' team is responsible for providing technical and process solutions for manufacturing digitalization in line with the 'Next Decade' strategy and the global Smart Manufacturing organization. We operate internationally, supporting CoE IPT manufacturing sites worldwide in implementing and utilizing these solutions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze and assess production sites regarding their digital maturity and identify optimization potentials.
2. Develop and align digitalization strategies and roadmaps according to CoE strategy.
3. Plan and coordinate activities related to manufacturing digitalization.
4. Implement digitalization solutions in collaboration with production sites and harmonize these solutions.
5. Lead CoE-related sub-projects within the company's digitalization programs, build and manage the expert network.
6. Support harmonization and standardization activities at the corporate level, ensuring alignment with CoE strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Production Technology, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in logistics or IT process design and optimization.
• Experience in digitalization projects within manufacturing, such as implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• IT affinity with solid knowledge of SAP PP, SAP MM, and SAP PM.
• Operational production experience and automation system integration (e.g., SPS/SCADA) are advantageous.
• Knowledge of analytical tools like Celonis, PowerBI, or Microsoft Reporting Services is a plus.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
