(Junior) Consultant Audit / Wirtschaftsprüfung (w/m/d)

In your role as a (Junior) Consultant (w/m/d) in Audit / Wirtschaftsprüfung, you will have a diverse range of tasks, from traditional audits of annual and consolidated financial statements according to national and international standards, to sustainability reporting audits and consulting related to audits.

Your Responsibilities

  • As part of the audit team, you will accompany audit and consulting assignments for national and international clients across various industries and sizes, allowing you to grow professionally and personally. The future topic ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) is becoming increasingly important, for example in the audit of sustainability reports.
  • Your analyses and expertise in different industries, including credit and financial institutions, will contribute to evaluations of business models, accounting, and valuation issues, leading to reports and recommendations.
  • You will conduct special audits that create sustainable added value for our clients.
  • In your audits, you will apply an innovative and digital approach and work with your team to continuously develop the future of auditing.
  • Team spirit is essential: you will lead audit projects efficiently within interdisciplinary teams, for example in compliance management systems, internal audit, and the transition of accounting systems.

Your Profile

  • You are a (Junior) Consultant in Audit / Wirtschaftsprüfung with a good degree in economics, industrial engineering, health economics, business informatics, business mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, environmental sciences, or law.
  • Your focus during your studies was on auditing, accounting, sustainability management, banking, revision, or IT.
  • You have initial practical experience from at least a 3-month internship in audit, accounting, healthcare, banking, or compliance, or possess a commercial qualification with banking relevance.
  • You are proficient in German and English at C1 level and are flexible and willing to travel as required in the consulting and auditing environment.
  • Your strengths include structured thinking, affinity for numbers, and teamwork skills.
  • You are motivated to continuously develop yourself and your environment, value building trust, and want to contribute to society.
