Activities

We are seeking an experienced (Senior) European Media Analysis Consultant to join our dedicated team serving a leading European institution. You will leverage your exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and comprehensive knowledge of EU policies and institutions to deliver insightful and high-quality media analysis products. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Delivering in-depth media analysis reports and strategic insights related to EU policies, institutions, and major international developments.
2. Acting as the primary contact for media analysis projects, managing client requests, and building long-term relationships.
3. Collaborating with clients to design and execute customized media analysis projects.
4. Producing clear, concise, and visually engaging reports, briefings, and presentations.
5. Providing strategic communication advice based on media analysis insights.
6. Preparing and delivering presentations for senior communication executives.
7. Identifying optimization potentials within projects.
8. Supporting and overseeing Junior Analysts to ensure quality and consistency.
9. Working collaboratively within an international team in an integrated Newsroom environment.

Requirements

Ideally, you have:

1. At least 5 years' experience in media analysis, communications consultancy, or strategic insights, with a focus on EU institutional or political affairs for at least 3 years.
2. Extensive knowledge of the EU institutional framework, especially the European Commission.
3. Expertise in qualitative and quantitative media analysis methodologies, familiar with traditional and social media landscapes.
4. The ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights quickly and clearly.
5. Proven project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
6. Advanced proficiency with Office 365 and comfort with new technologies, AI, and analytical tools.
7. A strong interest in current global events, politics, society, and business trends.
