As Associate Director Global Value & Access – Antibodies & ADCs, you will lead global market access strategies for our oncology assets across antibody and ADCs portfolios. You will support our mission and serve as the global market access strategy indication lead in matrix teams.
The position will be responsible for market access assessments, evidence generation, pricing & access strategies, and policy informing. You will identify access requirements for prioritized indications and products and develop strategies accordingly. Ensuring awareness of the value of our innovations internally and with external partners is key.
The position can be filled in UK, US (East Coast), or Germany.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Develop and lead BioNTech's Antibodies & ADCs asset value & access strategies across prioritized tumors, including launch planning and market access activities.
- Shape oncology development strategies, providing insights on access, pricing, and policy to cross-functional teams, ensuring a patient-centric approach from the start.
- Collaborate with the global value, access, pricing, and policy team (GVAPP) and other core teams to develop payer value propositions and evidence plans.
- Conduct landscape assessments, advisory meetings, and develop pricing and reimbursement strategies to inform market decisions.
- Educate stakeholders on access and reimbursement risks and opportunities, and gather feedback to inform portfolio strategies.
- Leverage external policy knowledge to optimize evidence development and highlight portfolio differentiation.
- Engage with HTA agencies, advocacy groups, and policy forums to build awareness and address challenges.
What you have to offer:
- Minimum 7+ years in global market access and pricing within pharma/biotech or consultancy, with experience in developing and executing strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree required; post-graduate degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, economics, or MBA preferred.
- Strong strategic, analytical, negotiation skills, with understanding of HTA processes.
- Experience in developing market access and pricing strategies with evidence plans.
- Leadership skills and experience collaborating in matrix environments, preferably in US/EU markets.
- Deep knowledge of clinical development (preferably oncology) and healthcare systems.
- Proven ability to influence clinical and commercial plans based on access considerations.
- Fluent in English; second language appreciated.
