What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Advising clients on technical database solutions and contributing to the development and implementation of sophisticated projects
  • Managing the operation, tuning, and evolution of database environments
  • Performing detailed monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery tasks, including performance optimization and backup strategies
  • Maintaining automated infrastructure for system monitoring
  • Administering server environments ( Linux / Windows ), including setup, configuration, and ensuring high availability
  • Supporting internal and external teams by analyzing, resolving, and documenting technical requests

What You Bring :

  • A degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience in tech with a strong database focus
  • Experience with database platforms such as MSSQL , PostgreSQL , or SAP / Sybase ASE
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and writing SQL procedures
  • Basic knowledge of system administration in Linux / Windows environments
  • Analytical mindset and a proactive, solution-driven approach
  • Strong sense of accountability and reliability
  • Proficiency in German (at least C1 level) and solid English communication skills

Nice-to-Haves :

  • Advanced SQL skills including performance tuning and query optimization
  • Familiarity with high-availability architectures
  • Scripting experience for automating tasks (e.g., Bash , PowerShell , Python , or Perl )
