Join to apply for the Sr. Ops Engineer, MSP-CX DR, Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience role at Amazon
Amazon is at the forefront of innovation in fulfillment technology and robotics. We seek an innovative, solutions-oriented Operations Engineer to develop and deliver next-generation technology systems in our European fulfillment centers.
Within the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience (MSP-CX) organization, we work backwards from customer needs, representing their voice throughout the product lifecycle—from development to deployment, support, and service—embodying Amazon’s Customer Obsession principle. Our goal is to transform stand-alone work-cells into end-to-end integrated solutions that are safe, easy to operate, maintain, deploy, and service.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in technology development and testing with mechatronics equipment. This role involves managing the schedule, scope, and cost of large-scale fulfillment technology and robotics projects across Europe. You will coordinate the deployment, commissioning, ramp-up, and support of MSP products in the field, driving continuous improvement in deployment cycle time, safety, quality, and productivity. You will also collaborate with hardware engineering and product teams to simplify installations and build customer relationships.
You will focus on deployment project management and product ramp-up support, collaborating with engineering, program managers, and operations teams. You will manage project schedules, budgets, and continuous improvement activities, traveling to project sites as needed.
The CX team within MSP works backward from customer insights to validate, deploy, and support MSP solutions globally, ensuring readiness and satisfaction across quality assurance, deployment, and support functions.
