You will write your Master’s thesis in the innovative field of Human-Generative AI Collaboration within the BMW Group's central IT department. This area explores the partnership between humans and generative AI agents, aiming to achieve superior results in efficiency and creativity while addressing challenges like misinformation and reduced human creativity.

What awaits you?

• You engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, bridging AI technology, behavioral science, and entrepreneurial needs to drive tangible business outcomes.
• Here, you design, implement, and evaluate new, state-of-the-art Generative AI tools at BMW.
• Additionally, you understand the mechanisms of effective human-AI collaborations, including its regulatory governance principles.
• You investigate new Generative AI tools in the organizational landscape and drive impact.

Please note that your thesis must be supervised by a university on your part.

What should you bring along?

• Master studies in computer science, business informatics, media informatics, mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field. Students from other fields with computational or data-driven skills are also welcome.
• Strong software programming background/experience, such as Python.
• Proficiency in English and a basic to fluent level of German, both in spoken and written form.
• Strong interest in and knowledge of topics like machine learning, deep learning, or human-computer interactions.
