Remote Senior Frontend Developer (m/w/d) - Vaadin/ GWT (Google Web Toolkit)/Apache Wicket

We are seeking a talented Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative user interfaces for our core products, such as IQVIA's Health Data Research Platform (part of the Connected Health Platform*).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and enhance existing user interfaces for our core products
2. Design, develop, test, validate, and debug new user interfaces
3. Develop the transfer layer from UI to the backend
4. Plan and design new user interfaces using wireframes
5. Conduct code reviews for other UI developers
6. Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito
7. Support the development of user acceptance tests using Selenium WebDriver, Concordion framework, and Vaadin Testbench

Primary Skills:

1. Experience with Vaadin is essential or experience with similar frameworks such as GWT (Google Web Toolkit) or Apache Wicket
2. Java coding skills
3. Spring framework (dependency injection, transaction management)
4. JUnit and Mockito
5. SQL skills
6. IntelliJ IDEA
7. Git (GitLab)
8. Maven
9. HTTP and REST APIs

Shift Timings:

Flexible working hours according to contract. Core team hours are between 10 am and 4 pm.

Time zone:

Berlin, Germany (CET: UTC+1, CEST: UTC+2).

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Fluent German skills or willingness to improve existing German language skills
2. Understanding of UX design principles
3. Experience with JPA/Hibernate, MSSQL-Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL
4. Familiarity with integrating applications to SSO solutions using OAuth2 or OIDC
5. Experience with browser automation using Selenium WebDriver
6. Test design experience with the Concordion framework

Skill Flexibility:

1. Experience with other UI frameworks like React
2. Experience in UI development for mobile applications
3. Familiarity with Windows or MacOS environments
