Plant Manager - Solar PV - Germany

The Company

Managing over 1000 renewables assets valuing over €2.5 billion.

Responsibilities

• Manage Technical Operation and Maintenance Activities
• Maximise kWh production focusing on high Availability & Performance Ratio
• Site visits to monitor and ensure quality work by Contractors and Suppliers
• Technical lead on retrofit, revamping / repowering, and other tech capex initiatives (inverter refurbishments, monitoring system, etc.)
• Monitor and validate technical solutions
• Support technical Due Diligence for new plants, including construction supervision if needed

The Person

The successful candidate will likely have :

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant field
• Asset management / repowering and refurbishment experience (such as replacement invertors and modules).
• Knowledge of contracts with EPCs, O&Ms etc.
• Ability to communicate professionally in German & English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to perform under pressure and solve problems as / when they occur.
• Be self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• This role would be suitable for people holding the position of Technical Asset Manager, Technische Betriebsführung, Repowering Specialist, Solar O&M Manager, Service Technician, Electrical Engineer, Solar Expert and similar.
