About Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions

Your Role

• Define and own R&D strategy based on customer and technology insights, collaborating with Marketing, SCM, and Front End teams for brands like Vileda Professional, Oates, and VERMOP.
• Ensure technical excellence in all international projects, including new products, SCM optimization, research, and ideation.
• Lead and coach global R&D leaders, manage budgets, set KPIs, and prioritize resources.
• Maintain and drive the global NPD/project roadmap with Marketing and SCM, ensuring product quality and supporting IP strategy.
• Develop global R&D capabilities to stay ahead of market trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading R&D organizations and innovation projects.
• Master's degree in technical/natural sciences; PhD preferred.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Expertise in innovation processes, IP, and creativity tools.
• Strong understanding of end-user insights, research, and broad technical knowledge in relevant fields.
• Visionary mindset with strategic thinking and innovation translation skills.
• Strong leadership and networking skills.
