Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and ambitious VP of Operations to join our team in Berlin. As a key member of the management team, reporting directly to the CTPO, you will oversee the operational backbone of our fintech services, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalability. Your role will be pivotal in shaping and optimizing our operations to support our growth in the fintech space. Responsibilities include:

1. Developing and implementing operational strategies aligned with company OKRs to drive efficient processes across departments.
2. Managing end-to-end operations of our FinTech products and services, ensuring they meet regulatory, security, and customer satisfaction standards.
3. Overseeing compliance, risk management, and operational controls to meet industry standards and maintain a secure environment for users.
4. Leading cross-functional projects and process improvements to enhance scalability, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in senior roles within fintech, financial services, or consumer-facing industries, preferably in high-growth startups or technology-driven environments. Proven experience in building and optimizing operations for complex, regulated financial products is essential. Key qualities include:

• A hands-on mentality, capable of managing both strategic and operational tasks.
• Strong understanding of fintech operations, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across departments and align stakeholders.
• High trustworthiness, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German (C2) is preferred.
• Skills in project management, strategic thinking, and analytical approaches, combined with a hands-on mentality.
