General Summary:
Qualcomm is recruiting a Senior Account Manager for the Industrial and IoT account team in EMEA. This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to join during a growth phase, managing accounts with a focus on Industrial IoT. Responsibilities include overseeing logistics and supply chain aspects for business expansion, engaging with legal and business frameworks, and developing a broad understanding of Qualcomm’s Industrial IoT portfolio.
The role entails full commercial responsibility for a major industrial account in Italy.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for personal growth and career advancement within Qualcomm’s rapidly expanding business.
Tasks:
- Lead a portfolio of existing projects and opportunities worldwide, working in an international environment.
- Identify new business opportunities within Industrial IoT segments.
- Develop and maintain a network at the customer level for early visibility of opportunities.
- Support RFQ and design-in processes, negotiate prices, and drive commercial agreements.
- Set up projects and manage their commercial aspects, including legal frameworks and milestones.
- Provide commercial support to engineering teams for tools, services, and governance.
- Support logistics, samples, production ramp-ups, and forecasting processes.
- Manage account governance and pursue sales goals, especially for RFFE products.
- Build and maintain customer relationships at all levels.
- Conduct regular customer visits and online conferences for technical advice, offers, negotiations, and quality management.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- 7-15 years of experience in semiconductor sales, account management, or business development.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills in English; German is preferred.
- Ability to explain complex technical content convincingly.
- Autonomous work style, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Experience with legal and financial sales processes.
- Flexibility, motivation, customer focus, and strong networking skills.
- Excellent communication and management skills, with willingness to travel.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or
- Associate’s degree with 8+ years, or
- High school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Note: Advanced degrees can substitute for work experience (Master’s = 1 year, Doctorate = 2 years).
