As a key player, you will be responsible for overseeing the product lifecycle, identifying market needs, and ensuring our offerings meet customer expectations in a highly competitive industry. This position requires frequent global travel to collaborate with international teams, engage with stakeholders, and explore emerging trends in the electronics manufacturing sector.

Product Strategy and Development:

• Define and implement global product strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities
• Manage the product lifecycle, including new product development, upgrades, and phase-outs
• Identify and evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to guide innovation
• Develop annual business plan for assigned cluster on how to achieve sales and margin targets
• Define the portfolio and technology roadmap that aligns with business strategy for sustainable growth

Market Analysis and Positioning:

• Conduct global market research to identify opportunities and potential barriers

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to deliver products that meet performance, quality, and cost objectives
• Partner with global sales and marketing teams to drive product launches and promotional campaigns

Financial and Performance Management:

• Define product pricing and revenue models to achieve business objectives

Global Travel and Representation:

• Travel globally to meet customers, attend trade shows, and gather insights into regional market dynamics

Team Management:

• Lead and build high performance cluster PM team that is able to deliver according to the growth plan
• Manage, energize and motivate a multi-cultural team of product managers located around the globe

Your ideal background:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Specialization in automation or mechatronics is preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, preferably in the machinery or automation sector
• Proven track record of managing international products and leading cross-functional teams
• Deep understanding of the electronics manufacturing industry and automation solutions
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills
• Strong financial insights to understand implications of key financial and quantitative indicators; manages overall financial performance
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively across cultures and disciplines
• Proficiency in product lifecycle tools
• Fluency in German and English
