Location: Primary Helsinki, but also other Outokumpu main locations (Finland, Sweden, Germany, Lithuania)

Purpose of the Job: We are seeking a dedicated Controlling Process Owner to drive controlling (CO) process development. This Global Process Owner role ensures that the CO processes and the data support decision-making, financial planning, performance analysis, and reporting requirements. It also includes leading end-to-end process development and collaborating with stakeholders (not only within Finance) to improve process performance, ensuring alignment with Finance and business steering requirements. Additionally, the role includes being the Business Solution Owner of the ERP R2R/CO module and managing related access rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Global Process Ownership: Ensure CO processes and data support decision-making, financial planning, performance analysis, and reporting requirements (e.g., MA reporting).
  2. Strategic Vision: Develop and implement targets, roadmaps, and measures to meet Finance Strategy and Vision targets in the CO process area. Create and execute CO process annual operational plan and relevant process development initiatives.
  3. Process Improvement: Continuously seek and implement best practices and new process automation opportunities in the CO area.
  4. End-to-End Process Development: Lead the development and collaboration with stakeholders to improve process performance, ensuring alignment with Finance and business steering requirements.
  5. ERP Business Solution Ownership: Manage the ERP R2R/CO module and related access rights, translating business requirements into SAP functionalities.
  6. Project Leadership: Lead and support strategic projects in the Finance area globally, including ERP module/solutions implementation and development projects (e.g., Polaris).

Requirements:

  1. Educational background in Finance (master’s or bachelor’s degree).
  2. 5+ years of relevant work experience (SAP-CO module).
  3. Strong managerial and leadership skills.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  5. Professional expertise in Finance.
  6. Strong analytical skills.
  7. Proficiency in process digitalization (RPA, AI, ML) and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean).
  8. In-depth knowledge of ERP (SAP-CO) systems and integration with other SAP modules (FI, MM, PP, SD) and other relevant Finance tools.
  9. Role model for company values.
