Senior Data Engineer

We are actively hiring for a Senior Data Engineer for one of our leading energy trading clients, with the following experience required :

• Expert-level Python for data engineering, automation scripting, and CI / CD pipelines
• Hands-on Databricks (Azure) with Unity Catalog & Delta Lake; experience building batch and streaming jobs, plus familiarity with Delta Live Tables (DLT)
• Strong Snowflake proficiency — data modelling, performance tuning, and secure data sharing
• Solid SQL skills for analytics and pipeline development
• Working knowledge of Apache Spark for large-scale processing
• Experience with Kafka and / or Flink for real-time data ingestion and stream processing
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB for relational and time-series workloads

For this role, the ideal candidate will have exposure to PPAs (failing that, power / renewables trading experience will suffice).
