Technician for Motorsport Intecrom and Radio - Formula 1

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the racing team in planning, preparing, and executing motorsport projects worldwide.
• Install and maintain analog and digital voice radio systems.
• Set up and operate wireless and wired communication networks.
• Deploy and support smaller-scale IT infrastructures.
• Collaborate closely with RIEDEL colleagues on-site and with Formula 1 teams.
• Troubleshoot down to module level, including detailed technical reporting for on-site teams and headquarters in Wuppertal.
• Document all completed events thoroughly.

THAT'S YOU

• Completed technical training (e.g., mechatronics, event or IT technology, electronics, communications technology) or equivalent academic background.
• Genuine passion for radio, intercom, audio, and IT systems.
• Hands-on experience in motorsport, broadcast, or event technology is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively, with flexibility and independence.
• Enthusiasm for end-to-end project execution and on-site involvement.
• Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic environments, with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Valid Class B driving license.
