  • Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve faultsacross a pan-EuropeanMPLS infrastructureand a range ofIP services, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Act as thesingle point of contactfor customers, providing clear updates and professional support.
  • Work closely withvendors, field engineers, and 3rd-level support teamsto manage escalations and complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate incident recordsand generate technical reports when required.
  • Identify and implement solutions to recurring problems inPacket & SDN networks.
  • Supportsoftware upgradesin collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
  • Participate in a24 / 7 shift pattern to ensure round-the-clock support for our customers.

What we're looking for

We’re seeking ahighly skilled and proactive Network Engineerwith expertise inLayer 1, 2, and 3 services and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer support.

Understanding ofIP Fundamentalsand variousProtocols, includingBGP,EIGRP,OSPF,ISIS.

Working experience withimplementing,diagnosingandtroubleshooting IP Access,MPLSandVPNsolutions across a pan European network.

Understanding the provisioning and maintaining ofIP,EthernetandOpticalservices acrossBackbone Networks.

Experience ofUNIXbased applications and trouble-shooting tools such asTelnet,FTP,TFTP,Traceroute.

Experience of one or more of the followingNetwork Managementand Support systems : Netcool,SMARTS,CiscoWorks,InfoVista,TACACS, Vendor Specific Element Managers.

Industry Experience– Prior experience working withglobal network providers, NOCs, and field support teamsto resolve technical issues.

Troubleshooting & Ownership– A team player who thrives in afast-paced environment, takes fullownership of issues, and collaborates effectively withinternal and external teamsto drive resolution.

Strong Communication– Ability to provide clear, professional, and service-oriented communication, bothwritten and verbal.

Technical Certifications– Formal IT qualifications such asCCNP, CCSP, CCNA, or similar are highly desirable.
