Performing modification of the data collection vehicle according to provided specifications to enable data collection from sensors and reference systems in different worldwide regions.
Responsibilities
Planning car modifications
Converting test vehicles according to requirements
Creating documentation
System diagnostics and troubleshooting
Managing activity scheduling with customer counterparts
Securing connection between system specifications and system test specifications
Initial system startup including integration tests
Analyzing problems internally and externally
Presenting system tests to customer counterparts
Assisting in developing test systems for vehicle testing
Creating application instructions
Mechanically integrating sensors with prototype brackets and HMI
Electrically integrating sensors, HMI ECUs into vehicles
Flashing sensors and firmware
Skills
Must have
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field
At least 3-5 years of experience in automotive electronics or a similar role
Strong understanding of automotive electronics, sensor technology, and ECU systems
Hands-on experience with installing and calibrating radar, camera, and ultrasonic sensors in vehicles
Experience with measurement equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
Soldering techniques
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA)
Prototype driving license (Level 1)
Nice to have
Valid certification to work on battery electric vehicles (Level 2E)
Ability to maintain accurate and detailed work records
Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python
Familiarity with electrical components, PLCs, microcontrollers, and embedded systems
Knowledge of mechanical design principles in automation and robotics
Understanding of electrical and control systems
Ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
