Project description

ADAS validation project involving Front Camera, Surround view cameras, Radars, and ultrasonics sensors. For this specific role, the focus is on:

  • Performing modification of the data collection vehicle according to provided specifications to enable data collection from sensors and reference systems in different worldwide regions.

Responsibilities

  • Planning car modifications
  • Converting test vehicles according to requirements
  • Creating documentation
  • System diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Managing activity scheduling with customer counterparts
  • Securing connection between system specifications and system test specifications
  • Initial system startup including integration tests
  • Analyzing problems internally and externally
  • Presenting system tests to customer counterparts
  • Assisting in developing test systems for vehicle testing
  • Creating application instructions
  • Mechanically integrating sensors with prototype brackets and HMI
  • Electrically integrating sensors, HMI ECUs into vehicles
  • Flashing sensors and firmware

Skills

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in automotive electronics or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of automotive electronics, sensor technology, and ECU systems
  • Hands-on experience with installing and calibrating radar, camera, and ultrasonic sensors in vehicles
  • Experience with measurement equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
  • Soldering techniques
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA)
  • Prototype driving license (Level 1)

Nice to have

  • Valid certification to work on battery electric vehicles (Level 2E)
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed work records
  • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python
  • Familiarity with electrical components, PLCs, microcontrollers, and embedded systems
  • Knowledge of mechanical design principles in automation and robotics
  • Understanding of electrical and control systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
