As the Communications and Social Media Manager at Exolaunch, you will be the creator and moderator of our public image on social media, including LinkedIn and X, and the public-facing liaison with customers and media for press releases and external communications.
We’re looking for a creative writer, passionate about short-form copywriting with an excellent grasp of the English language and syntax, who can develop and deliver engaging content for unique audiences. The ideal candidate will be a curious, engaged observer who can gather information from different teams within the company and transform narratives into interesting stories that can be shared externally online. Successful candidates will be enthusiastic learners who are eager to know anything and everything about space, as well as an expert on social platforms, trends, and forms of content. You must also be an analyst who can track and report on our social metrics, distilling numbers into summaries for our leadership team on what worked and what didn’t, quantifying Return on Investment and Return on Effort
Social Media
You will be responsible for engagement on social media platforms, for growing our
presence and ensuring a positive impression through social media. You will engage with all departments internally to create excitement around the innovation and execution of our missions, and you will engage externally with customers and launch partners to amplify their mission and bring attention to their message.
Communications
You will lead execution of internal and external-facing communications activities, such as press releases, journalist inquiries, events (internal and external), and internal newsletters. This includes keeping company templates with boilerplate language, numbers, and figures current, fielding interview requests and coordinating conference and other public speaking engagements for staff, enforcing launch provider guidelines for external communications
from our customers, and coordinating approvals for photos and press releases intended for public release.
