Job Opening: Design Engineer in Elmenhorst, Germany

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team in Elmenhorst, Germany. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating electric detail drawings.
- Implementing customer specifications.
- Developing mechanical views for products.
- Clarifying technical interfaces with customers and subcontractors.
- Ordering complex materials in collaboration with project purchasing.
- Ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Leading technical discussions with customers and suppliers.
- Participating in the creation of test regulations.
- Supporting functional tests and handovers.
- Assisting with internal and external documentation.
- Meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Reporting project status and issues to the team or line manager.
Qualifications include:
- Training as a state-certified electric engineering technician or a certified Bachelor/Master electrician or equivalent.
- Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems.
- Experience with design tools like EPLAN P8 or similar.
- Proactive, independent, and team-oriented working style.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of classification requirements and industrial standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
- Driving license and willingness to travel (~20%).
Some travel is required for customer meetings, with most held virtually.
