Lead AI / ML Ops Engineer (f / m / d)

Your role :

1. Oversee daily operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting of NBO models on GCP and on-premise servers.
2. Lead design, implementation, and validation of new business requirements for the NBO suite.
3. Ensure continuous monitoring, supervision, and version upgrades of NBO models.
4. Develop ML models within NBO, potentially using advanced techniques like GNNs, autoencoders, or transformers.
5. Manage data validation and ensure data quality for NBO inputs.
6. Oversee the NBO evaluation framework and report on performance metrics such as accuracy, coverage, and personalization.
7. Coordinate with relevant departments on architecture maintenance and regulatory compliance.
8. Collaborate with database stakeholders to communicate model performance and development progress.
9. Mentor mid-level engineers, especially on NBO-specific tasks.
10. Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation during team transitions.
11. Support the final handover process to the internal database team.

Your profile :

1. 10+ years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, especially in personalization or recommendation systems.
2. Proven ability to develop, deploy, and manage complex ML systems.
3. Strong programming skills in Python and R.
4. Experience with ML frameworks like scikit-learn and PyTorch.
5. Knowledge of recommendation systems, collaborative filtering, and GNNs.
6. Proficiency with SQL and large datasets (e.g., GCP BigQuery).
7. Experience with GCP cloud platform and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
8. Experience deploying models in containerized environments.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to new models and requirements.
10. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
11. Expertise in neural architectures such as Autoencoders and Transformers.
12. Ability to quickly learn complex domains.
13. Terraform experience is a plus.

Desired Skills :

1. Experience with cloud and on-premise deployment environments.
2. Knowledge of banking products and sales processes.
3. Familiarity with Vertex AI and Gemini Gen AI models.
