About the job:

Our client is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Expert to join their Information Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity practices, have experience in dealing with relevant standards and regulations. This role requires a proactive and analytical approach to identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective security measures to safeguard our organization's digital assets and sensitive information. This role also requires and understanding of threat analysis, STRIDE and SBOM management.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular assessments of the organization's information systems and networks to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and potential risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity solutions that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring that the organization adheres to relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the IT team during the implementation and management of security-related projects.

Requirements for this role:

• Must have a degree - preferably in cyber security.
• Certifications in the relevant field are a nice to have.
• Must be able to speak English to a fluent level.
• Must have worked in an Agile environment, scrum is nice.
• Must have worked in an Azure Security environment.
