Who You'll Work With

You will be based in one of our European offices (Germany, Austria, and Netherlands) as part of McKinsey Digital, which combines McKinsey’s digital capabilities to help clients transform their businesses through technology.

You will join a global team working on IT modernization, strategy, agile, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation projects across industries and functions. You will collaborate with colleagues from across McKinsey & Company to help deliver innovative products, experiences, and businesses, on both technology and non-technology topics.

Your Impact

You will work in small teams with McKinsey colleagues, clients, and system integrators to create value and accelerate S/4 HANA-based business transformations. You will be involved at each step of the transformation lifecycle, focusing on value identification, business process design, and system configuration, among other responsibilities.

During implementation, you will lead and challenge business process design, advise on complex functional deliverables, and coach testing strategies. You will leverage your expertise on analytics and technology-enabled business transformation projects involving S/4 HANA or ECC.

You will manage project streams, track metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports for clients and leadership. Additionally, you will build S/4HANA migration playbooks and share knowledge within the McKinsey community.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to work well in ambiguity and entrepreneurial environments, delivering exceptional results
• 3+ years of experience in ERP transformation programs and at least one full lifecycle of S/4HANA implementation, with expertise in process design
• Knowledge of end-to-end process functionalities and experience as a stream or functional lead is a plus
• Proficiency in English and German for our German locations
• Excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex information, and influence senior executives
• Ability to establish trust and act as an advisor
• Strong project management, multitasking, and time management skills
• Effective collaboration in international teams at all organizational levels
• Flexibility to travel approximately 80%
