What you'll be doing

  • Drive the technical product strategy and roadmap for securities and investment platforms
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of technical solutions
  • Oversee the technical aspects of product development
  • Bridge communication between Business, GDS and technical teams
  • Guide technical decision-making processes
  • Monitor technical performance metrics
  • Ensure technical compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage relationships with technical vendors
  • Provide technical leadership in product governance forums


What you'll need to succeed

  • Deep understanding of securities business processes, specifically requiring expertise in at least five of the following six areas:
    • Reference Data: Understanding of financial instruments static data, market data, counterparty data, and hierarchy management
    • Transaction Management: Knowledge of trade lifecycle, order management, execution, position keeping, and trade confirmation processes
    • Settlements & Custody: Expertise in settlement processes, custody operations, corporate actions processing, and asset servicing
    • Cash Management: Understanding of cash forecasting, reconciliation, payment processing, and liquidity management
    • Accounting: Knowledge of financial accounting principles, bookkeeping, P&L calculation, and regulatory reporting
    • Instrument Data: Expertise in financial instruments characteristics, pricing mechanisms, and market data management
  • 10+ years experience in technical product management within securities domain
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience
  • Deep understanding of financial market operations
  • Knowledge of modern architecture patterns
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in Agile product development methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced level of English language (written and spoken)
  • University degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Fluent in English and German
