Let's connect! If you want to experience how things are done in the Reinsurance Accounting & Valuation team at our headquarters in Hanover, Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 3 years, starting as soon as possible, as a Reinsurance Accountant Retrocession Cover.

You can look forward to:

• Independent preparation of comprehensive retrocession cover statements, including claims notifications and settlement figures
• Processing and checking incoming and outgoing reinsurance settlements and current account processing of payments
• Handling claims notifications, including technical sanction checks
• Correspondence and coordination with internal and external customers worldwide
• Participation in working groups and digitalization projects

You come equipped with:

• Commercial training in insurance, banking, accounting, or taxes, or a degree in business administration with relevant focus
• Ideally, experience in processing statements of account related to (re)insurance contracts
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• A strong numerical understanding and curiosity for new IT technologies and tools
• Business fluent German language skills
• Conversational English skills, mainly in written communication
