Does a career start building on your strengths matter to you? Start in our 18-Month Global IT - Domain Architecture & Solution Design Trainee Program starting October 2024.
During the program, you'll gain insights into different areas of our Global IT&D Air & Ocean (ITDAO) department. We tailor your program based on your unique strengths, interests, and goals, ensuring a personalized learning experience. Starting in Essen, Germany, you will have the opportunity to deep dive into our department while building a strong international network across DB Schenker.
What awaits you:
- As a Trainee in our Global IT&D Air & Ocean department, you will explore core areas to learn everything about our business, IT landscape, and systems.
- You will learn to review business requirements and support the creation of solution strategies to ensure development initiatives align with architecture principles and our application roadmap.
- You will participate in the development, evaluation, and documentation of the ITDAO architecture.
- You will support the teams in their daily work, either guided or independently.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your knowledge related to projects, process management, and more.
- This program is designed for your growth—develop your skills and unleash your potential by supporting projects and taking responsibilities.
Requirements
The skillset you bring:
- You are in the final stages of your bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT, business informatics, natural sciences, or a related field.
- You have knowledge in analysis, design, and development of application systems and software architecture, along with familiarity with architecture frameworks like TOGAF, and any relevant work experience.
- You possess strong analytical skills and knowledge of software development life cycles, design, engineering, or programming languages to identify and solve challenges.
- You demonstrate effective communication, team spirit, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse, intercultural teams and stakeholders.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
