The Customer Category Development Manager will be responsible for defining and driving 'how to win' strategies and JBPs/Partnerships with one of Germany’s biggest customers across all channels, including HM, SM, Discount, and Drugstores.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Serve as the key contact for internal MDLZ Category Development teams to translate national category growth strategies into customer plans across all growth levers (promotion, assortment, communication).
  • Act as the primary contact for Category Management teams within the customer to build advisory expertise for category growth within MDLZ categories and broader snacking.
  • Leverage category, consumer, shopper, retailer insights, as well as loyalty data, to create compelling stories supporting strategies.
  • Monitor and identify mid- to long-term growth opportunities at channel and customer levels.
  • Join Customer Category Development leads in customer meetings to inspire and create a joint category vision.

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career, along with the following experience and knowledge:

  • Minimum 6-7 years of professional experience in FMCG, with a strong background in at least two of the following areas: Key Accounts (KA), Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and Marketing.
  • University degree in a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with resilience to hold an alternative point of view.
  • Excellent analytical skills, commercial acumen, passion, growth mindset, and learning agility.
  • A future-focused mindset, curiosity about industry trends, innovation for consumers and shoppers.
  • Proficiency in English and German languages.

Please note that this role is also suitable for part-time work.

Relocation Support Available?

No relocation support is available; however, minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy for candidates voluntarily moving internationally.
