As part of the Infra Team, you will ensure the integrity, reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency of LiveEO’s cloud resources. You will join a small team of dedicated DevOps and Security Engineers, bringing seniority and deep technical knowledge to advance our infrastructure. You will also mentor less experienced colleagues and conduct regular security and cost efficiency sessions.

The Infra Team supports vertical product-focused teams with infrastructure to enable their services.

You will design and implement product services within our cloud infrastructure, collaborating with teams and improving existing solutions based on feedback and design sessions.

Expect to work on company-wide issues such as networking, CI/CD, logging services, and database performance in separate environments.

Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS using Terraform, leveraging Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), ArgoCD, KEDA, Karpenter, and other CNCF tools to build robust, cloud-native platforms.

Build, maintain, and optimize internal CI/CD infrastructure to enhance automation across the product lifecycle.

Provide expert technical support to empower users and maximize infrastructure potential.

Drive innovation by delivering robust infrastructure services to product teams, supporting LiveEO’s solutions and capabilities.

Lead the migration to a multi-account approach on AWS.

Mentor junior developers through code reviews and deployment strategies, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Your profile

Must haves:

• Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable, highly available infrastructure
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, including Helm and ArgoCD in production
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in Linux, Bash scripting, and Python
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and landscape
• Knowledge of AWS Landing Zone and Control Tower
• Solid understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, subnets, routing, and firewalls
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Experience with observability and logging solutions (e.g., DataDog, Coralogix)
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
• Focus on automation, shared responsibility, and continuous improvement
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Located in Berlin or within Germany with a valid work permit

Nice to haves:

• AWS and/or Terraform certifications
• Proficiency with Ansible
• Knowledge of SOC2 and ISO27001 standards
• Experience with WAFs
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD
• Experience deploying distributed processing frameworks like Ray/Anyscale
• Knowledge of KEDA and Karpenter
• Experience with identity access management tools like Teleport
