Regional Water / Wastewater Engineer (EMEA/APAC)

We are seeking a Regional Water/Wastewater Engineer to join the Decarbonization Technical Center (DTC) team. The role involves providing technical expertise in process/utility water, wastewater operations, and supporting sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engineering and implementing solutions for performance and compliance issues.
  • Supporting water use reduction and sustainability goals.
  • Serving as a water/wastewater SME in project development and design review.
  • Generating process designs, equipment specifications, and automation narratives.
  • Researching and promoting new efficiency technologies.
  • Troubleshooting system failures and collaborating on root cause analysis.
  • Performing field work and collaborating across teams and management levels.
  • Providing technical support, training, and documentation for water systems.

Profile requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical, Process, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience in water/wastewater engineering and operations.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of capital planning, environmental management, and continuous improvement is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective team and independent work capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
