(ETRM) System Specialist

for our office inHamburg and Amsterdam.

As an ETRM System Specialist, you will work at the heart of our Energy Trading Landscape, engaging with numerous interfaces and stakeholders. You will be tasked with solving complex and unique problems, each presenting a new challenge. You and your team colleagues are analyzing and developing software solutions using modern technologies and methodologies to contribute to high quality in a dynamic operational ETRM landscape while staying compliant with our software architectural and security guidelines.

Your key responsibilities:

• Administration, technical maintenance and customization of the trading applicationOpenlinkEndur
• Writing and maintaining Java basedOpenlink Endur JVS API Pluginsusing the Eclipse IDE
• Coordination around the trading system with business and projects
• Following processes in handling business and audit requirements
• Ensuring business continuity
• Assuring quality of delivery

We are mainly looking for someone with strong skills in energy or commodity trading / ETRM domain and related programming experience, but we also welcome candidates from other backgrounds. We’re ready to invest in your growth and offer a long-term role in a great team.

Qualifications

As a successful(ETRM) System Specialistyour work is defined by initiative and taking a proactive approach. You are performance-driven with a team-oriented working style.Besides that, you convince with the following skills and competencies:

• A graduate degree such as Bachelor in Information Technology / Management, Engineering, Business Administration or other related fields or similar qualification. Your ability to solve complex tasks, your attention to detail and your collaboration skills are more important than your exact background
• Good programming skills inJava, C, Python or similar
• Deep knowledge and experience with complex soft- and hardware solutions
• Team oriented, performance driven, high energy
• 3-5 years of overall IT software and IT operations experience

Advantageous but not a must:

• Experience with Energy Trading Applications, e.g. OpenLink Endur (JVS) or other ETRM solutions
• SQL experience with Oracle, MS SQL or similar relational DB systems
• Experience in agile work methodologies
