In 2020, we established Global Business Services (GBS) to manage end-to-end processes efficiently using innovative solutions. In 2022, GBS expanded to include PEOPLE SERVICES, which this role supports.
The PPLS Business Partner in Germany will focus on:
- Project management
- Administrative and compliance support
Within People Services, responsibilities include:
- Employee Life Cycle (ELC): managing from hiring to retiring.
- Master Data Management (MDM): ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Time to Pay (T2P): handling data collection, system entry, and compliance before post payroll activities.
- Connect to Resolve (C2R): maintaining knowledge articles for employee queries.
- External Workforce (EWF): reporting on external workforce data.
The role includes:
- PPLS Germany Expert: serving as the local expert on employee and external lifecycle topics, supporting change management, and representing People Services in leadership meetings.
- Sanofi Business Services partner: managing transition activities and service agreements.
- Vendor coordination: liaising with local vendors and improving service performance.
- Stakeholder management: working with finance, internal control, legal, and HR teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
- P&C partner: supporting HR processes, communication, and negotiations.
- Project management: leading or supporting projects impacting German employees.
- Administrative/Compliance support: managing audits, GDPR, SOX, and data quality.
- Continuous Improvement: streamlining processes and enhancing employee experience.
- Autonomy: contributing to the organization’s independence and process design.
Ideal candidates will have:

- Knowledge of HR systems (e.g., Workday), project management, and HR policies
Requirements include:
- Graduate/Master’s in HR or related field
- At least 3 years German payroll and HR services experience
- Experience with HR transformation projects
- Fluent in English and German, both written and verbal
