Product Owner (Automotive)

Due to new project ramp-up for a leading EU-based OEM in the area of Android Automotive IVI, Intellias is seeking a skilled Product Owner to ensure that the feature requirements of the project meet the highest expectations and standards from the customer side.

This project focuses on enhancing Wireless In-Car Services through the development, integration, and support of Android-based applications and platform components, with an emphasis on Bluetooth and WLAN stack functionalities. The scope includes both application-level and platform-level development, as well as platform architecture design to ensure a robust and scalable wireless service infrastructure.

Required skills :

• Proven experience in the Automotive domain, understanding its specifics and tools (Polarion, Doors, etc.)
• IT industry experience: 5 years or more, including collaboration with international clients
• Experience in business analysis or product management: 5 years or more, including defining solutions from idea to production
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Proven experience in communication with large audiences and top management
• Clear understanding of software development life cycle principles and specifics
• Extensive knowledge of business analysis activities and techniques
• Knowledge of requirements management tools (at least JIRA & Confluence)
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Systems thinking and functional decomposition skills
• Strong analytical skills for critical assessment of information from various sources
• Modeling skills to represent requirements graphically
• Ability to set clear priorities and manage time effectively, handling multiple tasks
• High flexibility and adaptability to changing stakeholders, conditions, and feedback; quick learner
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-confidence and openness to constructive criticism for continuous improvement

Preferred qualifications :

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Responsibilities :

• Analyze capability gaps within the client organization and suggest improvements and solutions
• Identify and define business needs and goals
• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders, project managers, and teams to understand and communicate requirements; moderate meetings and workshops
• Manage solution scope, detect and track changes, resolve conflicts and issues related to requirements
• Prioritize requirements, manage their allocation, and define non-functional requirements, interfaces, and constraints
• Evaluate and improve business analysis processes; establish requirements lifecycle procedures
• Monitor solution implementation and conduct acceptance testing; manage acceptance criteria
• Focus on continuous improvement of customer satisfaction
