SAP Solution Architect - German Speaking - 12 months ( Contract )

Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect with strong fluency in German to lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions across various projects. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders in German-speaking environments. The position is remote but requires residency in Germany due to legal and client engagement requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of SAP solutions across modules (e.g., S / 4HANA, SAP FICO, SD, MM, PP, or others depending on projects).
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP architectures and roadmaps.
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to define solution strategies and technical specifications.
• Oversee and guide project teams in implementation and integration activities.
• Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise IT strategy and SAP best practices.
• Provide technical leadership during pre-sales, proposal development, and project scoping.
• Conduct system assessments, fit-gap analyses, and define technical roadmaps.
• Support data migration, system configuration, testing, and user training activities.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and innovations (e.g., SAP BTP, Fiori, Cloud, AI / ML integrations).
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams ensuring effective knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications :

• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years experience including at least 4+ years as a Solution Architect.
• Proven experience in at least two full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Strong expertise in one or more SAP modules (e.g., S / 4HANA, FICO, SD, MM, BW, or others).
• Experience with SAP integration tools and middleware (e.g., PI / PO, BTP, APIs).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• SAP Certification(s) in relevant modules or architecture.
• Experience in cloud environments (e.g., SAP on Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, or hybrid project methodologies.
• Previous experience working with German enterprise clients or public sector projects.

Work Conditions :

• Remote work with occasional travel to client sites within Germany (if required).
• Must be based in Germany and eligible to work without sponsorship.
