The newly established Customer Area Near Patient Care within Roche Diagnostics Solutions combines our expertise in Point-of-Care and Diabetes Care Portfolio. Our goal in Near Patient Care is to enable precise diagnostics across all areas of the healthcare system—from home, pharmacy, doctor’s office, to emergency room and hospital—to support a sustainable healthcare system.

We are responsible for manufacturing continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), blood glucose monitoring (BGM), insulin delivery systems (IDS), and Point-of-Care (POC) products. Our solutions leverage cutting-edge technology to provide more independence, confidence, and safety for patients in daily life.

Your Responsibilities

  • Disciplinary leadership of manufacturing staff and operational management of maintenance teams, applying the VACC model (Visionary, Architect, Coach, Catalyst).
  • Ensure smooth production processes, maintaining focus on quantity, quality, and timeliness, and identifying capacity issues proactively.
  • Plan and control personnel and material deployment, establishing goals and KPIs aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure GMP-compliant manufacturing practices and documentation, representing the area during audits.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Continuously optimize production equipment and processes, living KVP/LEAN principles and Operational Excellence, and ensure ongoing team training in these methodologies.

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical or scientific field (university level).
  • 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/diagnostic manufacturing and team leadership.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing IT tools (MES, SAP, etc.).
  • Strong GMP understanding.
  • Deep knowledge of problem-solving, quality assurance systems (QS-Reg, FDA), process qualification, and validation.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and good command of English.
